The newest book, A Court of Silver Flames, hadn’t even come out yet. Once I reached where Feyre was about to start her first trial, I went to Barnes and Noble and purchased all the books available. I didn’t want to leave any detail unknown. I was invested in the world building of the plot I wanted to learn the history of this fantasy world. I was enthralled by how the characters were developing. I could not read the rest of the book fast enough. The plot finally reached a point that I was invested in the story. I powered through it, very slowly, and the plot started to pick up around page one-hundred-twenty.

I decided that, though I wanted to not finish the book, I was only about twenty pages into it and wasn’t being fair. I have a rule though, that to give a book a chance before deciding not to finish it I have to read at least a hundred pages of that book. I started the book, and wasn’t sure about it at first. I was glad to find a book that could potentially get me out of my very long reading slump. I was impressed I managed to avoid spoilers I didn’t start reading it until about a week after purchasing it. It was everywhere on my for you page, so the next time I want to Barnes and Noble, I grabbed myself a copy of it. I first found out about the series when I was in a reading slump and stumbled upon a part of TikTok known as BookTok. It is a very popular New Adult series, and gained many readers from TikTok’s “BookTok” pages.Ī Court of Thorns and Roses has become one of my favorite books (as well as book series) since I’ve read it. It was inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Maas is the second series this author has published.
